When you are able to successfully pair a watch, you will be able to find the Location Pin on the Map. The pin represents the latest location that the watch was able to send.
The watch uses 3 ways to get its location; GPS, WPS and LBS. GPS is priority and the most accurate, but needs the watch to be outdoors. For indoors, WPS will be utilized by automatically scanning hotspots in the area. Finally LBS is the last option when neither GPS nor WPS is available. Note that LBS location can be off by at least 300 meters.
The Location Pin in the Lilo App is simple yet provides you with a lot of information at a glance. Here are the different types of Location Pin.
Please do note that location accuracy will vary between users depending on the area. Open spaces like roads, parks will have better accuracy compared to cities with a lot of buildings. Signal quality from mobile networks affects timing and accuracy as well. It varies from different areas with suburbs having generally weaker signals.
